What is HeyVite?
HeyVite is a digital invitation and RSVP platform. You create an invitation, add your guests, and send it by email, or share each guest’s personal invitation link through WhatsApp, text, or another app. Then every reply, meal choice and plus-one tracks itself on one live dashboard. It is free to start, and your guest list is hidden from other guests by default.
Are the invitations really private?
By default, guests cannot browse your guest list or search for another person’s invitation. Each guest receives a personal invitation link showing their invitation and RSVP details. Share personal links individually, since anyone with a guest’s link may be able to view their invitation and respond. If you enable name search, people with your event’s shared link can look up invitations by name; it is off by default.
Is it free to start?
Yes, and “free” here means every design feature, not a stripped-down version. The full Card Studio, the premium and luxe collections, custom artwork, the wedding website, the envelope-and-foil reveal, no watermark: all of it is on the free plan, for up to 75 guests. The only thing a paid plan adds is room for a longer guest list.
Can I use my own design?
Absolutely. Upload a finished invitation and HeyVite makes it the full card, then handles the sending, RSVPs and reminders around it.
Do guests need an app or account?
No. Guests open their invitation in any browser and reply without creating an account: nothing to download and nothing to sign up for.
Do I have to chase RSVPs myself?
No. Responses arrive in real time on your host dashboard, with meal choices, plus-ones and head counts. When you want to follow up, send a reminder now or schedule one for later: HeyVite emails only the guests who haven’t replied.
Can I send invitations by WhatsApp?

The free plan covers up to 75 guests. The one thing a paid plan buys is a bigger guest list: $15 for up to 150 guests, $45 for up to 300 and $110 for up to 900. One payment, no subscription, nothing to cancel, and a full refund within 14 days of payment if you have not sent any invitations.
Which invitation platform is best for guest privacy?
HeyVite is built privacy-first: every guest receives a personal invitation link to their own copy of the invitation. By default, guests cannot browse your guest list or search for another person’s invitation, and there are no ads or tracking scripts on invitation pages, on every plan, the free one included. If you enable name search, people with your event’s shared link can look up invitations by name; it is off by default.
How do guests find their seat at the event?
Import your seat list from a spreadsheet, upload a photo of your floor plan, and publish. Each attending guest sees their table and seat on their own invitation. You can also print a QR code for the venue: guests scan it, type their name, and see their table, seat and floor plan, only their own, never anyone else's. You keep editing seats until the last minute; the printed code never changes.
