Three words carry a whole feeling, that little spark when a real invitation arrives, addressed to you. They became our name, Hey Invited, and then HeyVite. This is the story of why that spark matters to us, and what we’re building so every host gets to share it.

Somewhere along the way, it stopped being.
HeyVite is a privacy-first digital invitation and RSVP platform. HeyVite started with a party we were hosting ourselves. The invitation was one problem, but the real chaos came after: a group chat with sixty unread messages, a spreadsheet of who said what, three people who never replied, and the awkward “did you get my invite?” texts the week before. And the tools that were supposed to help either felt like filling out tax forms, or quietly used our guest list as their marketing asset.
We wanted the warmth of a paper invitation with none of the chaos. We couldn’t find a tool that treated hosting the way it actually feels: joyful, personal, and worth getting right. So we built one.

Guest privacy, by design
On most platforms, a curious guest can scroll through everyone else who was invited, and start guessing who wasn’t. Here, every invitation opens for one guest alone. And with Guest Privacy, included on every plan (free ones too), who you invite, who has replied, and where your guests are staying is your business alone.
Traditional RSVP Platforms
- Searchable Events: Anyone who finds the event page can guess a common name and open someone else’s invitation.
- Exposed Guest Lists: Competitors frequently display who else is invited, allowing any guest to snoop on the full attendance roster.
- Hijacked RSVPs: With one shared link, any guest can peek at another party’s reply or answer for them.
- Intrusive Ads: Ad networks track your guests’ behavior and blast them with annoying banners and promotional spam.
The HeyVite Way
- An invitation of their own: Each guest opens an invitation addressed to them alone. Nobody else ever sees it.
- Your guest list stays yours: Guest Privacy is the default on every plan, free ones too. No guest browses who else is invited or who has replied. Only you hold the full picture.
- Replies you can trust: Every reply comes in through a guest's own private link, so by default there is no name to look up and no way to answer on someone else's behalf. Hosts who want one open, share-anywhere link can switch name search on for that event. It is off unless they choose it.
- Private and clean: We never sell your data, and every event runs with zero ads and zero tracking. No spam, just a beautiful invitation.
