Every guest finds their seat without asking
Import a seat list, upload a floor plan, and publish. Seating lives right on each guest's own invitation.
Seating is the last puzzle of every event, and the first thing guests ask about. HeyVite keeps it where the answers already live: on the invitation. Build one chart for the whole celebration or a separate one for each sub-event, upload a photo of your floor plan, and import your seat list straight from a spreadsheet. Nothing to print, nothing to re-print, and nothing shared that should stay private.
Why hosts choose it
The details that make seating charts feel considered, not complicated.
A chart for the day, and for every part of it
Seat guests once for the whole event, or give the ceremony and reception their own charts. Each sub-event carries its own tables, its own import and its own publish switch.
Your floor plan, not a diagram tool
Upload a photo or scan of the venue layout. Guests see it right beside their seat card, so they can find the room and the table in one glance.
A spreadsheet is all it takes
Import a CSV with name, table and seat. HeyVite matches names to your guest list automatically (Smith, John finds John Smith), and anything unmatched lands in a quick fix list.
Hidden until you say so
Importing is host-side prep. Guests see nothing until you publish, and publishing is the owner's call: a co-host can prepare the chart, but you decide it goes live.
How does seating charts work?
Three steps from idea to invitation.
Pick your chart
Choose the whole event or one sub-event from the Event Day tab. Each keeps its own floor plan and seat list.
Import your seat list
Upload a CSV with a name, table, seat header row. HeyVite matches names to your guests, creates a table per distinct name, and flags anything unmatched.
Publish
Flip the publish toggle. Attending guests see their table, seat number and floor plan on their own invitation, and nowhere else.
