How can we help?

Find help with creating invitations, sending them, managing RSVPs, and choosing a guest limit.

Getting started

What is HeyVite?
HeyVite is a digital invitation and RSVP platform. You create an invitation, add your guests, and send it by email, or share each guest’s personal invitation link through WhatsApp, text, or another app. Then every reply, meal choice and plus-one tracks itself on one live dashboard. It is free to start, and your guest list is hidden from other guests by default.
How does HeyVite work?
Three steps: choose a design and make it yours, add your guests and send. HeyVite emails each guest their personal invitation link, or you can copy links and share them yourself. Then watch RSVPs, meals and plus-ones arrive on your live dashboard. Send a reminder now or schedule one for later, and only guests who haven't replied get it, so the follow-up takes one step instead of a list of messages.
How do I create my first event?
Choose “Create an invitation,” add your event details, and pick a design. Personalize the invitation, then add your guests and choose how to send it. Creating the event does not send invitations.
What kinds of events can I use HeyVite for?
Any celebration. HeyVite works for weddings, birthdays, baby and bridal showers, graduations, anniversaries, corporate events, parties and more. You can browse designs by occasion on the invitations page.
Does HeyVite work on my phone?
Yes. HeyVite works in any mobile browser. There is nothing to download. Hosts can create, send and track from their phone, and guests can open their invitation and RSVP from theirs.
What makes HeyVite different from other invitation platforms?
Privacy by design. Give each guest a personal invitation link and collect their reply in one place. By default, guests cannot browse your guest list or search for another person’s invitation. Guest Privacy is included on every plan, free ones too, and it is the default on every event. If you want one open, share-anywhere link instead, name search is yours to turn on for a single event. That is paired with designer cards and live RSVP tracking.

Pricing & plans

Is HeyVite free to use?
Yes. The Free plan is genuinely free. You can design and send invitations and track RSVPs without paying anything, and no credit card is needed to sign up. Every design and feature is included on every plan; the only thing a paid plan buys is a larger guest list for a single event.
How much does HeyVite cost?
HeyVite is free to start. Paid plans are $15, $45 or $110, each a single payment for a single event. Planning an event with more than 900 guests? Contact us about a larger guest list. The full comparison is on the pricing page.
Is HeyVite a subscription?
No. Paid plans are a single payment for a single event: $15, $45 or $110 depending on the plan. There is no recurring charge and nothing to cancel.
What is the difference between the plans?
Every plan includes the same designs and features: the full Card Studio, the premium and luxe designs, the envelope reveal, the wedding website, Guest Privacy, and a watermark-free card. The only difference between plans is how many guests you can invite: free up to 75, then $15 for up to 150 guests, $45 for up to 300 and $110 for up to 900. The side-by-side comparison lives on the pricing page.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The Free plan asks for no credit card and no payment details. You only add payment if you choose to upgrade a specific event to a paid plan.
Will guests see ads on my invitation?
No. HeyVite never shows ads on your invitation, on any plan, and there is no watermark on any plan either. Every event gets the same clean, ad-free experience whether it is free or paid.
What is your refund policy?
You can request a full refund within 14 days of payment if you have not sent any invitations. Email [email protected] for help, or read the full policy at heyvite.com/refund-policy.

Sending & delivery

How do I send invitations to my guests?
Send invitations by email through HeyVite, or copy each guest’s personal link and share it through WhatsApp, text, or another messaging app. Either way, each guest opens their own personal invitation link to view the invitation and RSVP.
Do guests need an app or account to open an invitation?
No. Guests open their invitation in any browser from the link you send: nothing to download, no account to create, no password. They can read it and RSVP in seconds from a phone.
Can I send a save-the-date first?
Yes. Send a save-the-date first and follow up with the full invitation later, all from the same event. Your guest list carries over, so you only build it once.
Can I edit my invitation after sending it?
Yes. Update the event details and guests will see the latest version when they reopen their invitation. For an important change, send a separate update so guests know to check.
How many guests can I invite?
Each event is free for up to 75 named guests. Paid plans increase that limit for one event. Partners, children, and named plus-ones count toward the total. Compare guest limits on the pricing page.
A guest did not receive their invitation. What should I do?
Check the email address on their guest record and ask them to check their spam or junk folder. Correct the address if needed, then resend the invitation. You can also copy their personal link and send it through a messaging app.

RSVPs & tracking

How do guests RSVP?
Guests RSVP straight from the private link you sent them, no account needed. Their reply, meal choice, plus-ones and head count land on your dashboard the moment they respond.
Can guests change their RSVP after replying?
Yes. Guests can update their RSVP anytime by reopening their private link, and your dashboard reflects the change instantly, so your head count is always current.
How do I track RSVPs, meals and plus-ones?
Everything lands on one live dashboard. Every RSVP, meal choice, dietary note, plus-one and head count updates in real time, so when the caterer or venue asks for numbers, a glance gives you the answer.
Does HeyVite send RSVP reminders automatically?
You can send a reminder immediately or schedule one for later. When a scheduled reminder sends, HeyVite checks who still has not replied and emails those guests.
Can I export my guest list and responses?
Yes. You can export your guest list and responses from the dashboard (to a spreadsheet for the caterer or venue, for example), so your data is always yours.
Should I delete my guest list and upload it again to fix a problem?
Almost never, and it is worth knowing why before you do. Removing a guest also removes their reply, meal choice, dietary notes and anything they signed up to bring, and the invitation link already sitting in their inbox stops working. Editing a guest instead keeps every one of those things. If something looks wrong on your list, open that guest and change the details directly.
What happens if I remove a guest by mistake?
Removing a guest cannot be undone, and re-adding them does not bring their reply back. They return as a new guest with no RSVP, and they need a fresh invitation link because the old one no longer works. If you only need to correct a name, an email or a phone number, edit the guest instead and nothing else changes.
Can I change a guest's name or email without resending their invitation?
Yes. Editing an existing guest keeps their invitation link and RSVP connected to their record, so a corrected spelling does not disturb anything they have already done. If you correct their email address, resend the invitation to that address.
Does resending an invitation cost anything?
No. Sending again to people who are already on your guest list, whether that is a reminder or a corrected invitation, does not count against your plan. Your plan covers the size of your guest list, not how many times you contact them.

Guest privacy

Can guests see who else is invited?
By default, guests cannot browse your guest list or search for another person’s invitation. Each guest uses a personal link to view their invitation and reply. If you enable name search, people with your event’s shared link can look up invitations by name; it is off by default.
Does every guest get their own link?
Yes, on every plan. Each guest receives a unique link to their own invitation, addressed to them, where they RSVP and see only their own reply.
Can I forward an invitation link?
A personal invitation link belongs to the guest it was created for. Forwarding it can give someone else access to that guest’s invitation and RSVP. To invite another person, add them to your guest list and send their own link.
What exactly is Guest Privacy?
Guest Privacy is how HeyVite protects your guest list. It is included on every plan, free ones too, and it is the default on every new event: no public guest list, no name lookup, and per-guest isolation, so each guest sees only their own invitation and their own reply, and only you, the host, see the full roster. The one exception is yours to make. If you would rather share one open link anywhere, you can deliberately open that single event to a share-anywhere link with name search, and a visitor holding the link can then look a guest up by name. It stays off unless you turn it on, event by event.
Is my data safe with HeyVite?
Yes. Your details and your guests' details stay private to you. We never sell your data. You can also protect your own account with a passkey and two-factor authentication.

Designs & Card Studio

Can I customize the invitation designs?
Yes. Every template opens in the Card Studio, where you edit the wording, colors and details until the card feels like yours. Browse the full collection by occasion on the invitations page.
Can I upload my own artwork?
Yes. Bring a finished design (from a designer, another tool, anywhere), and HeyVite will make it the whole card, so your invitation looks exactly the way you created it, with private links and RSVP tracking still built in.

Planning tools

Can one event have multiple parts, like a ceremony and reception?
Yes. Group several moments (say a ceremony, dinner and after-party) under one event, invite the right guests to each part, and collect a separate reply for every one.
Can guests vote on a date before I pick one?
Yes. Run a date poll and let guests vote on the dates that work for them; once a winner is clear, lock it in and send the invitation.
Can I create a wedding website?
Yes, on every plan, free ones too. Build a wedding website alongside your invitation to share your story, schedule, travel and accommodation details, and more: one place your guests can return to all the way through the big day.
Can I share photos with guests after the event?
Yes. Events can include a shared photo album where you and your guests upload pictures and relive the celebration together afterward.

Account, security & support

How do I sign in to HeyVite?
Use "Log In" at the top right. You can sign in with a passkey (nothing to remember) or with a password; both are supported.
How do I secure my account?
Turn on a passkey and two-factor authentication (2FA) under Settings → Security. A passkey is the strongest option: it is phishing-resistant and there is no password to steal.
I'm a guest and I can't find my invitation link. What do I do?
Look for the message from your host in your email or messages. Your invitation is a personal link addressed to you. If you cannot find it, ask your host to resend your personal invitation link.
How do I contact support?
Email [email protected] or use the contact page. Tell us what you were trying to do and where you got stuck, and include your event name and any error message. For pricing, sending, RSVPs and privacy questions, the answers on this page are the quickest path.
