Do I have to pay per invitation or buy coin packs?
No. Unlike traditional stationery sites that charge per card or require coin bundles, HeyVite is an event hosting platform. All invitation designs, event websites, and management tools are completely free. You only pay a flat rate if your event guest list exceeds 75 guests.
What do paid plans include?
Every plan includes the same designs and hosting features. A paid plan increases the number of guests you can add to one event: $15 for up to 150, $45 for up to 300 and $110 for up to 900 guests. Pick the guest limit that fits your event; the invitation itself is identical on every plan.
Is HeyVite pricing a subscription?
No. A paid plan is a single charge for a single event. There is no recurring charge, no billing cycle and nothing to cancel or renew.
Do guests who decline still count?
Yes. Your guest limit is based on the named people on your list, regardless of whether they accept, decline, or have not replied. You do not need to delete anyone to stay under the limit.
What if my event is postponed?
If your date changes, your plan can move with it. Email
[email protected] and we will move the plan, including your yourname.heyvite.com address, to the new date or a replacement event at no cost.
Can I change my mind?
Yes. You can request a full refund within 14 days of payment, provided you have not sent any invitations. Email
[email protected] and we will authorise it back to your original payment method.
What currency are HeyVite prices in?
Prices are listed in US dollars. Checkout accepts international cards, and hosts in Canada, Australia and the UK see the exact amount for their country before paying.
Can I upgrade after I start on the free plan?
Yes. Start free, and if more guests join than you planned, upgrading to a larger guest list takes effect right away. Your invitation, designs, guest list and RSVPs all carry over untouched.
Why is the price based on guest count and not on features?
Because we would rather sell you room than sell you a better card. Everywhere else, paying more changes the artefact: nicer templates, premium envelopes, ad removal. Here the card a free host sends is the same card the top plan sends, down to the foil. Guest-list size is the only thing that grows with the size of your event, so it is the only thing we charge for.
I already paid for a plan. Does it cover my next event too?
No. A plan belongs to the one event you bought it for, not to your account, so a second event starts on the free plan at up to 75 guests. That is true even when you are inviting exactly the same people, because each event is priced on its own guest list. If the new event fits inside 75 guests you pay nothing for it.
Can I reuse the same guest list for another event without paying again?
You can always reuse the people. Whether you pay again depends only on how many of them there are. Up to 75 guests on the new event costs nothing. Above that, the new event needs its own plan at the size you need, which may be smaller and cheaper than the one you bought before.
How many free events can I run at once?
You can have 2 free events live at the same time. Events with a paid plan do not count towards that, and once an event's date has passed it no longer takes up a slot, so you can keep hosting.
I bought a plan but did not pick an event. Where did it go?
It is safe on your account, waiting to be used. Open the event you want it on, go to Settings, and choose "Use it here". If you would rather not, it applies on its own to the next event you create. You are not charged twice either way.
How do you count guests when someone brings a partner or children?
We count the named people on your event’s guest list, not the replies. A guest with a partner and two children counts as four, whether they accept or not, and an unnamed plus-one allowance does not count until a name is added. The limit is the list, not the headcount on the day.
Is HeyVite the cheapest way to send invitations?
No. There are invitation tools that stay free at any guest count, usually with advertising, or a guest list every attendee can browse, as the trade. HeyVite is the one where the price never changes the card and your guest list is hidden from other guests by default. Above 900 guests we quote per event. Contact us.
What is your refund policy?
You can request a full refund within 14 days of payment if you have not sent any invitations. Email
[email protected] and we will help, or read the full refund policy for the details.
