Host a weekend, not just a day

Group a welcome dinner, ceremony and brunch under one event, with private invitations and a reply to each.

Some celebrations do not fit in an afternoon. A wedding weekend might run from a welcome dinner on Friday to a farewell brunch on Sunday. HeyVite lets you hold several sub-events under one umbrella, invite the right guests to each, and collect a separate RSVP for every part, all while keeping each guest's view private to them.

Why hosts choose it

The details that make sub-events feel considered, not complicated.

Many moments, one event

Welcome dinner, ceremony, reception, brunch: gather them under a single event so nothing is scattered across separate links.

The right guests for each part

Invite everyone to the ceremony but only close family to the rehearsal dinner. Each sub-event has its own guest list.

A reply to every part

Guests RSVP separately to each sub-event they are invited to, so you know exactly who is coming to what.

Private throughout

Each envelope opens onto exactly the parts its guest is invited to, and nothing more. Nobody scrolls past a dinner they were not asked to.

How does sub-events work?

Three steps from idea to invitation.

01

Create your sub-events

Add each part of the weekend (the dinner, the ceremony, the brunch) under one event.

02

Invite per sub-event

Choose which guests are invited to each part of the celebration.

03

Collect replies to each

Guests RSVP to every sub-event they are invited to, and you track each one separately.

Frequently asked questions

Answers about sub-events on HeyVite.

What are sub-events on HeyVite?
Sub-events let you group several occasions under one event, such as a welcome dinner, ceremony and brunch. Each sub-event has its own guest list and its own RSVP, so you can run a whole weekend from a single place.
Can I invite different guests to each sub-event?
Yes. Each sub-event has its own guest list, so you can invite everyone to the ceremony while keeping the rehearsal dinner to close family.
Do guests RSVP separately to each sub-event?
Yes. Guests reply to each part they are invited to, so you get a clear, separate head count for every sub-event.
Do guests see sub-events they are not invited to?
No. Each guest opens an invitation of their own and sees only the sub-events they are invited to. The full schedule remains yours to manage.
What is the most private way to send digital invitations?
Send each guest a personal invitation link to their own invitation, on a platform with no public guest list, no name search by default, no ads and no guest tracking. HeyVite works this way by default, on every plan including the free one: guests see their own invitation and RSVP, and your guest list is hidden from other guests.
Can I password-protect my event?
Yes. Events can be password-protected so only people holding the direct link and the password can open them, on top of the per-guest private links every invitation already has.
Does HeyVite show ads or track my guests?
No. There are no ads on any plan, no third-party trackers on invitations, and analytics never run on guest invitation pages. Guests' names, RSVPs and details are never exposed to other guests or to advertisers.
